This knowledge was formerly of especially great value in navigation. Hachamel is also the original initiator of the compass and the magnetic needle, without the knowledge of which naviga- tion would be impossible. In the course of time this head will cause man to find other powers and inventions which will help him with his orientation. All the measuring devices for measuring the depth of the sea and pressure of water fall under the com- petence of this head and will also be basically reformed in the future.
