is a mysterious head of the zone girdling the earth, and every magician is especially interested in him, for he is the custodian of all magical keys and therefore strictly sees to it that these keys, by which enormous powers and faculties can be released, never get into the hands of immature people. Sarsiee personally sees to it that the true mysteries remain hidden to the non-initiate even if they are published in hundreds of books. This head therefore may justly be regarded as the custo- dian of magical keys.
